Analyzing Results

After the campaign has run for two weeks the recommended minimum period , you can start analyzing the data and establishing a performance baseline. Although, ideally, a whole month of data will provide a better picture.

First of all, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with the metrics and dimensions, their meanings and applications.

Then you’ll have to go to the ads reporting interface within your Business Manager and select the Dimensions and Metrics that better reflect the level of granularity you need to analyze, the time dimension you want your data to include and the KPIs that are more appropriate for the selected campaign goal and settings.  

After extracting the report, not only will you be able to analyze the results within Facebook’s platforms, but also to study them in perspective of the overall marketing plan and within all the communication efforts, combining them with additional research and other data sources to provide actionable insights to multiple areas of the company.
